Is Your PC a PRC Spy?

There are many ways to fight wars in the Twenty First Century. It is always the most unexpected weapon that does the most damage. Which makes the idea of a Manchurian microchip especially frightening. What is so frightening about this microchip? If it exists the security of all information stored on all machines which contain this technology will be compromised. Is this a real threat, or another dose of Chinophobia from the world's most paranoid superpower?

It is to be expected that the West would underestimate China's Cyberwar abilities.  It is typical of European and American feelings of superiority that they think that their technology is safe. The Chinese have a very different perspective on intellectual property rights to the West - whose hegemony of ideas has held back the planet since patents were invented, and has created the oppressive restrictions on technological progression with which we subsist in the present.
